Five Coronation Street spoilers from Carla Connor’s dramatic return to Steve McDonald’s armed robbery ordeal
THE week in Weatherfield is set to be a turbulent one, especially for Carla Connor who is back on the cobbles, but still really not very well at all.
So what should you be looking forward to this week in Coronation Street? Let’s find out…
Carla Connor returns
Roy Cropper arrives back from Portsmouth and is devastated to see the posters up of missing Carla.
He blames himself for throwing her out and vows to find her. But when he gets back to the flat, he’s stunned to find Carla waiting for him.
But he’s shocked at the state of her as she tells him Rana’s alive and Kate’s hiding her, telling everyone she’s dead.
Kirk is spotted by a talent scout
The Rovers talent show is a huge success and has a surprising outcome for one of the contestants.
A talent scout approaches Kirk and tells him she wants to sign him up for a six-week tour.
But Beth is suspicious and her heart breaks when she realises the scout is a comedy scout and just wants to sign Kirk for the laughs.
Kirk’s upset when Beth tells him the truth, but soon decides it doesn’t matter and is proud his songs make people smile.
Steve is an unwitting getaway driver
Steve is under pressure from Tracy to make more money so they can get a deposit together for a house.
She tells him to get out on the streets in his cab and so some illegal pickups.
It doesn’t go well when Steve picks up a lad who robs a garage and then threatens him with a knife to drive him away from the crime scene.
Adam Barlow returns
Adam Barlow is back on the cobbles for the first time since February when he went travelling after being accused of sleeping with Sarah Platt.
The first thing he does is apologise to his solicitor partner Imran Habeeb for leaving him in the lurch.
Imran’s girlfriend Toyah is less than impressed to see Adam back.
Peter and Carla move into Roy’s
After Carla starts asking Roy about Aidan he calls the emergency mental health team. Carla is taken into hospital but is released with anti-psychotic medicines to take.
Peter is determined to look after her and tells her she’s moving into No.1 with him but Ken flatly refuses, telling Peter he’s not well enough himself yet to take care of anyone else.
Peter doesn’t listen though and he moves into Roy’s flat with Carla. But it’s soon clear that Carla doesn’t want Roy around and Ken offers Roy a room at his place instead.
Peter is left to look after Carla alone. Will he cope?
