Hollyoaks spoilers: Sinead O’Connor to be brutally raped by husband Laurie again after he escapes Sienna Blake’s revenge attack

SINEAD O’Connor is going to be brutally raped by her husband Laurie again in Hollyoaks – after he escapes from Sienna Blake’s revenge plan.

Nurse Sienna – who is played by actress Stephanie Davis in the Channel 4 soap – will think she is free of evil Laurie when he disappears after Sienna kidnaps him out of revenge of his sexual harassment of her.

But when he escapes he goes back home and violently takes out his anger on Sinead, raping her again.

However this time Sinead finds the strength to tell her mum Diane about what has been happening to her and she goes to the police.

Laurie will later be arrested and have to speak to the police, but he may find a way to get out of it, especially when Nancy Osbourne thinks Sienna is behind everything and backs him up.

Actress Stephanie spoke to The Sun Online about being back on Hollyoaks and proving naysayers wrong with her skills as a performer.

Speaking at the Bafta TV Awards, she said: “I don’t think it was proving everyone wrong, I think it was just remaining true to myself and then everyone sees through truth, and I’m back to work where I belong.

“I’ve worked hard and worked on myself, and I think it’s just unfortunate events that happen to people but I’ve come through it.”

She added: “I’m feeling blessed that I’ve even been shortlisted. The main thing for me was to get the storyline across to people and help them, and it has, so my job is done.

“It’s good to be back and known for what I’m good at, which is acting and for being me.

“I’m really proud of myself, I’ve stood strong and I’m back.”
