Don't give up, we can save the animals

NOAH saved the animals two-by-two when the Great Flood washed away life on Earth some 7,000 years ago, according to the Book of Genesis. His hand-built Ark became a sanctuary for creatures great and small until the waters receded and nature could return to repopulate dry land.
