Cristiano Ronaldo shows caring side after meeting seriously ill young fan in touching granted wish
A SERIOUSLY ill youngster from Bristol’s dreams came true when he was flown out to Turin to meet his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, 34, met 10-year-old Joseph and his family at Juventus‘ training ground.
The Portuguese superstar posed for photos with the boy from Bristol and his family after having his wish granted.
Charity Rays of Sunshine arranged the trip for Joseph who had undergone extensive surgery and therapy after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2013.
Mum Kelly said: “Wow, wow wow! We can’t thank you enough for all that you have done to make this happen. The whole experience was incredible and Joseph was overwhelmed with joy.

“We’ve been spoiled rotten and Ronaldo was so happy to have photos and sign our things.”

The family were flown out to Turin in Italy where Juventus are based and after meeting Ronaldo they were given a tour of the training ground.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, completed his first season at the Italian club by winning the Serie A title.
Juventus’ European aspirations were ended when they were knocked out the Champions League by Ajax at the quarter-final stage.
