San Jose: Caltrain delays expected after train derails
SAN JOSE — A southbound Caltrain derailed Monday morning while approaching the Diridon Station in San Jose, according to the transit agency.
The train made it to the platform, and all the passengers exited normally, according to Caltrain spokesman Alex Eisenhart.
There were no injuries reported, Eisenhart said.
Caltrain crews responded to the station to investigate what happened and work and are “trying to fix it as soon as possible,” Eisenhart said.
Delays are expected Monday morning.
