Moonlight Ride – St. Marks Rail Trail Under The Power Lines – April 20, 2019

What an awesome Spring evening with dry cool air and a beautiful sunset for eight brave souls! Joyce P., Linda V., Chris L., Katrina W., guest Sarah E., Ambrose H., Rocky M., and guest Shantrel rode out at 8:00 p.m,. hugging the power lines and the gas line, as these offered wide white sand trails on either side of the lines. Several horses were really stepping out and all of horses had a great time, as they can see fantastic at night and the change in their routine had them stimulated. While the horses were doing this, the riders occasionally wondered when the moon would show up. This didn’t effect the fun however, and several conversations and tinkling laughter could be heard among the riders in the relative darkness. A really great ride that I wish could have gone on for hours and hours. As we approached the trailers, there was the most beautiful moon coming up over the horizon that you ever did see!
