Spurs reply to Supporter Trust’s request to subsidise ticket prices for Champions League final

Tottenham Hotspur have formally replied to the Supporters Trust’s request to subsidise ticket prices for the Champions League final for supporters.

Airlines and hotels are substantially increased their prices for the final which will be held in Madrid on June 1st, which has left many fans feeling the financial pinch.

The going rate for a two-night stay in a flat in Madrid over the Champions League final weekend is more than £1,000.

As of last Friday, EasyJet was charging £709 for a flight from London Luton on 31 May, according to Skyscanner, up from £178 two days prior.
