Each player marked out of 10 and the averages below.

Newcastle saved their most comprehensive victory for the final day of the season.

Rounding off a season where he has been excellent at the back and going forward, Fabian Schar (8.3) was your man of the match. His fourth goal of the season made Schar Newcastle’s third top scorer in the Premier League.

Two NUFC players weren’t far behind, with Jonjo Shelvey (8.0) celebrating his return to the team by scoring a stunning volley to start the scoring.

It was fitting that NUFC’s player of the season, Salomon Rondon (7.8), scored the final goal of Newcastle’s season to seal an excellent display.

A good team performance all round, saw six other starters get 7.0 or better.

Matt Ritchie (7.5) showing Fulham what is needed in this division with his usual high energy display.

Ayoze Perez (7.4) was quick to react for his 12th goal of the season and Paul Dummett (7.4) solid as usual.

Isaac Hayden (7.2) filled in well at right wing-back, whilst Martin Dubravka (7.1) was dominant and made a couple of decent saves.

Jamaal Lascelles (7.0) bounced back from a poor showing against Liverpool, with a comfortable afternoon, as Mitro caused few problems.

Only two of the eleven failed to get 7.0 or higher.

Christian Atsu (6.4) showing limited creativity, whilst Mohamed Diame (6.3) was outshone by Shelvey in the middle.

Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 5pm Monday:
