Years before Lindbergh, NC-4 'Lame Duck' made transatlantic history

The ditched "Lame Duck" was repaired in Chatham, Mass., and went on to make the first trans-Atlantic flight eight years before Charles Lindbergh's famous crossing. It was the first flight across any of the world's oceans.
