2 women, 1 man seriously wounded in Englewood drive-by
Three people were seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday in Englewood on the South Side.
They were hit by gunfire in an apparent drive-by attack at 1:22 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Justine Street, according to Chicago police.
One woman was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while a man and a woman were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said. They were all in serious condition.
The suspect left the area in a red sedan, police said. Area South detectives are investigating.
