WATCH: Cardinals Kyler Murray already setting NFL records
Kyler Murray is already the record-setting rookie NFL experts predicted he’d be.
Not on the field, though. We’ll have to wait a few more months for that. We’re talking auctions. His autographed helmet — which featured his name and “Go Cards!” went for $3,450, the highest-ever bid on an NFL Auction autographed helmet. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback signed the helmet just moments after being selected first overall at the 2019 draft.
Proceeds from that winning bid will go back to the football program at Allen High School in Texas, his alma mater.
The highest bid in last year’s draft was $2,030 for the Dallas Cowboys’ first-rounder, Leighton Vander Esch.
