The Pelicans are picking No. 39 instead of 37 because of a tiebreaker. New Orleans ended up with the worst of three picks along with Dallas and Memphis because it went it reverse order of how the teams pick in the first round New Orleans at No. 1, Memphis at No. 2 and Dallas at No. 10.
