Eurovision fans praise Graham Norton’s hilarious commentary after comparing singer’s dress to a Christmas tree

EUROVISION fans were left in hysterics because of Graham Norton’s witty commentary.

Fans praised the “British sarcasm” as the presenter gave his verdict on the competing performers.

Graham’s cattiest remarks included comparing Albania’s entrant’s glamorous frock to a Christmas tree.

One viewer tweeted: “Graham Norton commentary is such an integral part of my enjoyment of this event.”

Another put: “Playing a drinking game where we do a shot of wine every time Graham Norton says something scathing. I think we might die.”

A third Eurovision fan put: “Graham Norton’s savage commentary is the best thing about Eurovision Song Contest.”

While another commented: “Eurovision is only worth watching for Graham Norton’s commentary to be honest. So much British sarcasm.”

Others claimed Graham was the “real winner” of the annual pop spectacle, with many admitting they only watch Eurovision for the chat-show host’s opinions.

THE 2019 Eurovision Song Contest kicked off with a host of the competition’s most iconic stars returning to perform a greatest hits medley.

Fans were buzzing with excitement as acts including Dana International and Netta returned to the stage.

It will be followed in the interval by a greatest hits medley from four of Eurovision’s most iconic acts who will switch songs for an ultimate pop performance.

Conchita Wurst, Måns Zelmerlöw , Eleni Foureira and Verka Serduchka will take to the stage.

Graham Norton narrated the opening for UK viewers after last year’s winner Netta introduced the show with a comedy skit.

The host explained how this is Israel’s third time of hosting Eurovision, but it marks the first occasion that Tel Aviv has been the host city.
