A cocaine dealer has been let out of prison for a spa day only four years into his ten year sentence.

Luke Jewitt, 33, seemed to be having a lovely time posing in the jacuzzi with his mum, and with his feet up on a massage bed.

The gangster was jailed for being part of a £5.2 million international cocaine smuggling ring.

Out on day release, he took the opportunity to book a day at the Santai Spa in Birmingham, which has an ‘ionised salt cave’, pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub.

Packages at the luxury spa cost up to £140 per day.

Jewitt, whose brother Jamie was on Love Island and is dating Camilla Thurlow, was out on release from his sentence at Birmingham Prison on temporary licence on March 23.

He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply drugs after police found the gang’s 3.6-ton stash of cocaine and cannabis in October 2014.

Prisoners can be let out on licence if they are deemed low risk, sometimes for work purposes and sometimes to rebuild family ties.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: ‘Release on license is only granted towards the end of an offender’s prison sentence following a thorough risk assessment.

‘All are subject to strict conditions which 99 per cent of offenders abide by – with those who do not facing a return to a closed prison.’
