Motorcyclist grievously injured in accident

A 58-year-old motorcyclist from Birżebbuġa was grievously injured on Sunday in a traffic accident in Mellieħa.

The police said the accident happened in Triq il-Marfa at 10.15am.

The rider lost control of his Yamaha and fell off.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
