Zelenskiy appoints new commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy has appointed Ruslan Khomchak as Chief of the General Staff — Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Viktor Muzhenko, who was dismissed from this post.

Relevant decrees of the president of Ukraine No. 310/2019 and No. 302/2019 dated May 21, have been made public on the website of the head of state.
