Tragedy strikes as two LAUTECH undergraduates die in car accident (photos)
In what could be described as an unfortunate incident, two undergraduates of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), have been confirmed dead after their involvement in a car accident along Aroje road, Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
The two students identified as Dr Sleem and Young Prof, who are both 400 level students of the institution, were reported to have been driving to school for their farm work when they were involved in the car crash.
According to reports by Lautechportal News, about 6 students were involved in the accident, but only two were confirmed dead.
It was also reported that the unfortunate incident occurred in front of a Bovas filling station in the state.

The report further noted that the vice-chancellor of the institution Professor Micheal Olufisayo Ologunde, who was personally involved in rescuing the remains of the deceased, described the occurrence as devastating, and prayed the good lord to grant their family the fortitude to bear the loss.

In other news, Legit.ng gathered the report of a Nigerian woman who shared recounted how she abandoned her husband at a police checkpoint, with members of the online community. According to the lady, she was driving behind her man when his car was flagged down. However, instead of waiting for him, she said she drove all the way home and left him on his own.
