TecnoRib Brands Pirelli and P Now Distributed by Dominican Republic’s IBI Yachts

With a tag line like ‘when the water is your road, but rubber’s still your ride’, there’s definitely something to like about TecnoRib, the official licensee of inflatable boat brands Pirelli and P. Now, this Italian-headquartered company’s high quality hard bottom inflatable ribs are available in the Caribbean. TecnoRib signed an agreement in March with IBI Yachts, which is based at Marina Casa de Campo, in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

“We have been thinking about a business expansion in the Caribbean and have decided to rely on the most popular and solid dealership in the area, which has made itself known for the exclusive distribution of brands such as Azimut and Benetti,” said Gianni De Bonis, TecnoRib’s managing director.

IBI Yachts, which is part of IB Nautica Group, will sell the Pirelli and P brand ribs in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Puerto Rico, and offer after-sales service.

In the next few months, TecnoRib will present its new Pirelli J Line of 9.5- to 15-feet Jet Tenders at key international yacht shows. www.tecnorib.it, www.ibinautica.net
