Youth climate change activists gather at Nelson's Column in central London

Hundreds took to the streets in London to call on the Government to take action on climate change.

Footage shows protesters gathering around Nelson's column in Trafalgar Square today (May 24).

More than 100 protests have been held in towns and cities across the UK, according to the UK Student Climate Network (UKSCN).
