Tyrion Lannister: Why was Tyrion left out of A Song of Ice and Fire in GOT finale?

TYRION LANNISTER ended Game of Thrones season 8 as Hand to the King and in his final scene was handed the book A Song of Ice and Fire which detailed the history of wars since King Robert’s death. But why was Tyrion not mentioned in the book in the Game of Thrones finale?
