Love Island’s Miss GB Kobi-Jean Cole ‘quits show out of respect for her title’
RUMOURED Love Island hopeful Kobi-Jean Cole is thought to have quit the villa before the show has even begun.
The current Miss Great Britain has been dropping hints that she’s going on the ITV2 dating show but now her personal trainer has revealed she has backed out.
“There were some discussions regarding inclusion in this series between Kobi and the producers of Love Island during their casting process…” her PT Matt Fiddes wrote on Instagram.
“But it was decided that out of respect for her title and the Miss Great Britain brand she would not be taking part.”
If Kobi had entered Love Island she would have had to be on her best behaviour as beauty pageant bosses would keep a close eye on her.
Miss GB 2015, Zara Holland, was stripped of her title when she entered Love Island in 2016 and had sex on telly with Alex Bowen.
Earlier this week fans were convinced Miss GB would be heading into the villa as she was seen on Instagram with Megan Barton-Hanson’s fitness trainer Matt Fiddes.
Matt posted snaps for their workout and captioned them: “What’s is she getting in shape for?
“Training hard with @missgb_official @missgreatbritain18_19 she is in amazing shape and working so hard! Single and full dedicated to her goals!”
Kobi then added: “Ahhh so exciting!! Not long now.”
Matt sent fans wild when he revealed she’s heading out of the country soon.
He wrote back: ” @missgreatbritain18_19 be glad when your out the country! I get a little break!”
Meanwhile, Rochelle Humes’ sister Soph Piper and social media star Sav Berry are also among the rumoured line-up.
