As a UC Band Alum, I'd be shirking my my bully pulpit duty if I didn't throw this out there. The Band needs some new instruments, particularly Sousaphones. Sousaphones are expensive ($16.5K) Students can't exactly afford to buy their own. If you'd like to help out go here:
