Derby must get promotion to seal deal for Liverpool loanee Wilson
DERBY will have first go at signing Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool next season — if they win tomorrow’s play-off final.
Frank Lampard’s Premier League wannabes are desperate to keep hold of the Welsh midfield ace, 22, who has been a regular for them this season.
However, the Rams will have to go up to the Prem to seal the deal.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and the Anfield backroom staff think Wilson needs to be tested against the big boys next time round. Wilson is also fancied by Wolves and Leeds either as a loan or a buy.
But another term at Derby is favourite if Lampard takes them back to the big time by beating Aston Villa at Wembley.
There is also interest from Bournemouth, who fancy making a £25m bid.
Eddie Howe is ready to offer the Wales winger Premier League football at the Vitality Stadium.
Meanwhile, Wilson is ready to wait until the play-off final is decided.
