Victoria Police has identified the body of a woman who was found at Royal Park in the northwestern Melbourne suburb of Parkville on Saturday morning. Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper says the victim is Courtney Herron, a 25-year-old of no fixed address with drug and mental health issues. Ms Herron was killed as a result of a ‘horrendous bashing’. Police are on the hunt for anyone with information as to her whereabouts as they work to piece together ‘significant gaps’ in movements before the attack. Image: News Corp Australia
