Two individuals drowned in Nethravati river at Barimaru village in Bantwal rural police station limits on Saturday. They have been identified as Ajith, 40, and Manish, 16. According to police, a group of five to six persons from Kumble in Kasaragod had come to the house of Sanjeeva Bovi, a resident of the village, to participate in a marriage function.
