Just a quick question

I assumed the CL final was this weekend with the Prem finishing two weeks ago and the FA Cup final last weekend.

Then I was told it was on June. So then I thought maybe UEFA had moved the EL final to the Sat before so as to maximize exposure.

Apparently not.

Why is there a 2 week gap in the English game this season
