Michael Wins Darren Clarke Qualifier

It was the Darren Clarke Qualifier on Saturday at Silverwood Golf Club, and the winner with 41pts was Michael Frazer, Michael had a front nine of 22 pts with two birdies at the 3^rd and 8^th holes, two pars at the 4^th and 6^th holes, one no-score at the 1^st hole, and four single bogeys, and a back nine of 19 pts with three pars at the 13^th 14^th and 18^th holes, three single bogeys at the 10^th 12^th and 16^th holes, and three double bogeys, to win by one shot.

In 2^nd place was Joe O Hanlon with 40 pts, he had a front nine of 21 pts with six pars at the 1^st 2^nd 3^rd 5^th 7^th and 8^th holes, one double bogey at the 4^th hole, and two single bogeys, and a back nine of 19 pts with one birdie at the 17^th hole, four pars at the 13^th 14^th 15^th and 16^th holes, one double bogey at the 12^th hole, and two single bogeys.

In 3^rd place was Niall Morrow again with 40 pts, he had a front nine of 20 pts with three pars at the 3^rd 8^th and 9^th holes, two double bogeys at the 2^nd and 6^th holes, and four single bogeys, and a back nine of 20 pts with two pars at the 13^th and 14^th holes, one no-score at the 15^th hole, and six single bogeys.

The gross prize was collected again by Ethan Headley with a level par 72 , he had a front nine of 35 with two birdies at the 1^st and 4^th holes, two single bogeys at the 3^rd and 5^th holes, and five pars, and a back nine of 37 with two birdies at the 14^th and 16^th holes, two bogeys at the 10^th and 11^th holes, and another five pars.

4^th place went to Gavin Mc Cabrey he had  21 pts on his front nine with one birdie at the 2^nd hole, five pars at the 1^st 4^th 6^th 8^th and 9^th holes, and three single bogeys, and a back nine of 19 pts with one double bogey at the 10^th hole, three single bogeys at the 14^th 15^th and 17^th holes, and five pars.

The 5^th place went to Stephen Morgan with 40 pts, he had 21 pts on his front nine with three birdies at the 1^st 8^th and 9^th holes, and a back nine of 19 pts with seven pars and two bogeys at the 16^th and 18^th holes.

The Senior Prize went to Frank Gallagher with 39 pts.
