Forever Bury Statement 26th May 2019

Representatives from Forever Bury have participated in seven meetings, both internal and external, in the nine days up to Friday 24 May, with the ultimate aim of assisting in the process of reaching a solution to the current impasse that is seen to prevail. Forever Bury, like many supporters, are well aware of the potential consequences should a solution not be put in place prior to the Court Hearing scheduled for the 19 June. Consequentially, Forever Bury representatives currently have a full schedule of meetings planned for the week ahead, which include discussions with the EFL legal representative and also Bury Football Club officials.

Forever Bury members and Bury Football Club supporters in general, must not lose sight of the fact that Forever Bury has limited influence in respect to the financial situation in which the Club finds itself. In addition, it is not backed up by a phalanx of legal advisors as are other parties involved. It is for this reason Forever Bury has to be mindful as to what it is able to divulge during this period, as unsubstantiated statements may well lead to litigation against the organisation. However, members and supporters can be assured Forever Bury will do everything in its powers, as the second largest shareholder of Bury Football Club, to ensure the Club’s continued survival .Forever Bury only has one agenda, the survival of the Club, please help; we need the body of supporters behind us.
