One man is dead and another seriously injured after being crushed by a bulldozer at a rubbish tip in Sydney’s west. Emergency crews rushed to the Eastern Creek rubbish tip to reports two workers were crushed by landfill shortly before 1pm on Monday. One man was freed and rushed to Westmead Hospital via helicopter, where he was treated for shoulder and abdominal injuries. Police have established a crime scene at the tip and are investigating circumstances surrounding the incident.
