I was in a debate with a viler mate of mine a couple of days back who felt that I was overstating the financial restrictions that we were under this season. I pointed out that we couldn't pay anything more than 10k a week for a player and then offered Adam Rooney as an example of how restrictive this sanction was for us. Now Rooney left Aberdeen to play for Salford in the fifth tier of English football so we were trying to estimate how much they've been paying him especially when considering he was playing in the Championship (and Europe) not too long back for us. So what wage would you guess that he's on? My guess was around 5k.
