Robert Menasse will Literatur und Debatte künftig trennen

Der Wiener Autor Robert Menasse hat vor der Verleihung des rheinland-pfälzischen Literaturpreises bekräftigt, künftig genau auf die Trennung von Literatur und politischer Debatte zu achten. "Ich sehe mich als Künstler, der sein politisches Denken in die Diskussion einbringt", sagte Menasse am Freitag in Mainz. Dabei habe er im Umgang mit Zitaten die eine Rolle in die andere einfließen lassen.

HC stays JNU's academic and executive council decisions on marking of faculty attendance

The Delhi High Court Friday put on hold decisions of JNU's academic and executive councils to make attendance mandatory for the faculty, and said action against unauthorised absence be taken as per rules governing the service of the teaching staff.
