Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Saturday decided to provide 10 per cent reservation to economically weaker sections from the general category in state government services in Class-I, II, III and IV posts, an official spokesperson said here. With this, Himachal Pradesh became the latest state to decide, in principle, to implement the quota. Three murders were reported in Beed district of Maharashtra in the last two days, police said Saturday. Sheelavati Kisan Giri (50), who belonged to the Gosavi community, was killed by unidentified persons in Ayodhya Nagar area of Beed city Saturday morning. Her throat had been slit, said a police officer. Sheelavati and her husband Kisan Giri begged to earn livelihood.
