Meat from a Polish abattoir at the centre of a scandal over slaughtering sick cows has been sold to nine other EU countries, Euronews has learned. Secret filming by broadcaster TVN revealed the unwell animals being killed at a slaughterhouse situated 112km east of Warsaw. Meat from the abattoir went to Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden. Americans were forced to wrap up on Wednesday as a blast of Arctic air that came from a polar vortex brought dangerous and freezing weather to a large area of the country. Steam billowed from Lake Michigan and ice formed on the water, as Chicago's streets froze. You can see footage of the freezing conditions in the above video player. Camposaz is a wood self-construction workshop in 1:1 scale. The Collective is known for his collaborative and site-specific approach. Nathaniel Wood is coming home.

“The Prospect” has been booked to compete in his home country of England, where he’ll meet Jose Quinonez in a bantamweight bout at UFC London on March 16 at The O2 Arena. Officials announced the bout at a press conference Wednesday.

Wood, a former Cage Warriors champion, is 2-0 in the UFC so far with submission wins over Andre Ewell and Johnny Eduardo. The 25-year-old Englishman has won his last seven fights and is 15-3 as a pro.
