Stocks remained in rally mode Wednesday after the Federal Reserve kept benchmark interest rates unchanged as was widely expected. Major indexes had been trading higher during the session in response to relatively strong earnings from U.S. companies, including Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Boeing Co. .
