Luke Perry, the actor best known for his role in the teen drama "Beverly Hills 90210," has died at 52 after suffering a massive stroke last week, according to media reports Monday. Perry played the role of Dylan McKay, a modern-day James Dean figure, in the series, which ran from 1990 to 2000. More recently, Perry starred in the CW drama "Riverdale." He was hospitalized after a stroke at his L.A. home on Feb. 27. TMZ first reported the news, which Perry's publicist confirmed.

Juniper Networks Inc. announced Monday that it intends to purchase Mist Systems, a wireless-networks company that makes use of artificial intelligence. Juniper will pay $405 million in cash and the assumption of outstanding equity awards. The company expects the deal to close in its fiscal second quarter, which ends in June.
