The government on Thursday said it has been making efforts for the promotion of Hindi as an official language of the United Nations and its propagation worldwide. Four pilgrims fainted when they were waiting in the queue to have darshan of Lord Athivaradar at the Devarajaswamy temple here, police said Thursday. A medical team near the temple immediately provided treatment. Officials said they fainted due to dehydration. The devotees later offered prayers and left.
