President Donald Trump on Friday afternoon announced a deal to boost American beef exports to the European Union. Reports had said such a deal was expected. Trump said duty-free U.S. beef exports to the EU will increase by 46% in Year 1, and they will rise another 90% over 7 years. "In total, the duty-free exports will rise from $150 million to $420 million," the president said. The S&P 500 communication services index has increased 20% so far in 2019, beating the S&P 500's 17% gain and all but two of 11 sectors - technology and real estate.
