A powerful earthquake struck off the southern coast of Indonesia's heavily populated Java island Friday, the country's disaster agency said, warning that it could generate a tsunami. The 7.4 magnitude quake struck at a shallow depth of about 10 kilometres (six miles) offshore, some 147 kilometres (90 miles) from Sumur, southwest of the capital Jakarta.

Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain on Friday reviewed the retail prices of tomato and onion in the city. Tomato prices in the national capital had increased from Rs 40-Rs 50 a kg to nearly Rs 90 a kg over the past few days. According to the government, the retail prices of tomatoes have started showing a downward trend. The supplies of tomato have increased from Himachal Pradesh, it said. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Q1 net jumps two-fold to Rs 94 cr

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (SFB) on Friday reported more than two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 94.4 crore in the first quarter ended June 2019, helped by healthy growth in advances and improvement on stressed assets front. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 46.10 crore during the corresponding April-June quarter of the previous fiscal ended March 2019. Researchers, including those of Indian-origin, are using artificial intelligence (AI) to help airlines price services such as checked bags and seat reservations in a way that is beneficial to customers, as well as to the airline industry.
