A driver of an earth-moving machine was killed and five government vehicles were vandalised by a mob during an anti-encroachment drive in Rajasthan's Nagaur district on Sunday, police said. Seven children drowned while bathing in ponds in separate incidents across the state on Sunday, police said. Four teenagers drowned in a pond in the Kohdaur area of Pratapgarh district, they said. "Anoop (14), Ruchi (15), Shivani (13) and Aarti (13), all residents of Suryagarh village, had gone to take a bath in a pond. Two Chinese nationals arrested for theft at Kathmandu airport

The Nepal police have arrested two Chinese citizens for stealing money and valuables from a tourist at the Tribhuvan International Airport here. The arrested Qiwei Ma and Xinzhong Hu stole cash and gold ornaments from a Danish national on a Turkish Airlines flight on Wednesday, officials said. The accused were arrested on Saturday and the stolen gold and cash was seized from them, they said. Further investigation is on.
