In the second phase, the single-use plastic will be banned in all Air India flights, it said. Two killed in road accident in Washim district

Two persons were killed in a road accident here in Maharashtra on Thursday morning, police officials said. The mishap took place on the Karanja-Darhva road when a speeding bus hit a two-wheeler, they said. A dog suddenly came in front of the two-wheeler, forcing its rider to apply brakes. However, the bus coming from behind could not stop in time and crashed into the two- wheeler, the officials said. The deceased, who were on the two-wheeler, were identified as Prakash Thak (50) and Mutsufa Khan, they added.
