In yet another incident of conversion of girls from minority communities in Pakistan, a 19-year-old Sikh girl was allegedly abducted and converted to Islam before being married to a Muslim man in the country's Punjab province. An FIR has been registered against six people in the case, Muhammad Jamil, Nankana City Police Investigation Officer, told PTI. A 20-year-old woman died while undergoing medical treatment after she allegedly tried to commit suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house located in northwest Delhi's Netaji Subhash Place, police said on Friday. The deceased was identified as Seema, who hailed from Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur, they said, adding that her husband was arrested.
