At least 10 confirmed tornadoes touched down throughout Colorado on Sunday, May 26, the Denver Post reported. This timelapse is described as showing one of the tornadoes, near Wiley in southeastern Colorado. According to the Denver Post, hailstorms accompanied the tornadoes, and a spokesman for the National Weather Service, Jim Kalina, said that the state was “in the peak of [its] severe weather period.” Elsewhere in the state, funnel clouds were spotted in Denver and Watkins on the same day.
