The organisation, created by Dame Ellen MacArthur. takes young people aged between eight and 24 for a week of activities after beating cancer.
Chris explained: “The format for the kids is that they arrive on the Monday and leave on the Thursday.
“It’s four nights on board the boat and then they have this BBQ farewell which I’ve seen.
“I had to go and have a little moment for myself because I got so emotional.

“I knew some of the situations and challenges of the kids. But they were literally having the time of their lives.”
The event helps to rebuild the cancer survivors’ confidence after beating the disease.
Dame Ellen MacArthur said: “When a young person is diagnosed with cancer they have their entire world pulled out from underneath them and lose all their confidence and their courage.
