Only 9 Scripted Shows Increased in Viewership During 2018-19's Broadcast TV Season
The 2018-19 television season has come to an end and we’re taking a look at the ratings for shows airing on the major broadcast networks.
The Nielsen ratings for the season (September 24, 2018 through May 22, 2019) have been revealed by THR and of all the veteran scripted shows on television, only nine of them increased in average viewership for the season. The viewership numbers are only for same-day viewing and do not include the numbers from DVR playback.
The three series with the biggest gains all hail on the same network and within the same universe. Can you guess the shows?
