Dad tries to hide lads night out from wife by staging pics at home in bed – but gets busted when snaps go viral
A CRAFTY dad tried to hide a lads’ night out from his wife by staging pictures of himself tucked up in bed – only to get busted when the snaps went viral.
Damien Keegan, 42, was drinking at the pub with pals last Monday when his wife Fiona called to check where he was.
The Irishman told his other half, who was on holiday in Spain at the time, he was on his way home at about 9pm.
But his word wasn’t enough for Fiona, who asked their daughters for picture proof of him coming through the door and going to sleep.
Till manufacturer Damien then decided to outsmart her by briefly leaving the boozer and dashing back in a taxi.
Arriving at his home in Dublin, he undressed and leapt into bed to pose for a picture snoozing under a duvet.

His daughter Naomi was roped into the scheme and sent the snaps to her unwitting mother, who fell for it.
But their pub plot backfired when Naomi uploaded the images on Twitter and they unexpectedly went viral.
In a series of posts she wrote: “S*** my ma asked is Da in bed and he’s acc in the pub but she’s on holiday and doesn’t know.
“She asked me to take a pic of him in bed and he’s getting a taxi home to get a pic in the bed and then going back out.

“The things you’ve to do to go the pub when ur wife’s away… stinger da ye got caught after all.”
Thousands of people liked and retweeted the hilarious post until it was eventually spotted by Fiona’s sister, according to local reports.
The dad of four said: “It had gone viral all over the internet, and even got shared in Australia.
“The whole of Dublin was talking about it. My wife was going mad, but you don’t stop when you start drinking.”
Damien said it was the first time he tried the trick, but hopes many more will give it a go.

He added: “I am sure there will be a lot of people trying this trick now.”
But despite a telling off from his missus, the night wasn’t all bad for the lad.
After Damien told his taxi driver he was just hopping in and out of the house to pull off the prank, he got the ride for free.
