People are transforming their bathrooms and kitchens using £1 tiles from Poundland
SHOPPERS across the country have been taking to social media to praise Poundland, after transforming their homes with £1 tiles from the budget store.
It all started when one woman claimed she had refurbished her bathroom by spending just £22 – and now, other bargain hunters have been posting their own transformation photos, too.
“It only cost me £22 to spruce up my bathroom as Poundland are doing these clever tiles £1 a pack so I bought 15 packs,” the woman revealed on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group.
“I got the curtain foils for £3 from Dunelm… two tubes of No More Nails, £2 for both… £1 photo frame from Poundland and popped a tile inside it as a decorative.
“[And] £1 for the sparkly candle burner.
“Now that’s a really cheap transformation… I feel chuffed.”
And following the post, other members of the group were inspired to transform their own homes, posting impressive snaps of their finished bathrooms and kitchens, having used the same product.
One posted three images of a transformed bathroom, using almost identical tiles from Poundland.
While another commented: “We did our bath panel last year, still looks great!”
One posted an image of her bath – which also featured her adorable cat – with beautifully decorated wall tiles.
“Just done my bathroom in these tiles also,” she explained.
“They are amazing! As you can see the cat is happy too.”
One person used the chic tiles as a backsplash, posting an image of the bargain product neatly applied underneath her cloakroom mirror.
“I just did the same on my cloakroom backsplash really sticky and so easy,” she explained.
Another shopper had used the tiles in her kitchen, explaining they had been “up for a while and still haven’t peeled off”.
Another agreed, explaining: “I’ve got them all around my kitchen and on the cooker splash back, had them for two years and [they have] not peeled off or anything.”
Two Facebook users had even decorated the fireplace with theirs.
The bargain tiles are available at Poundland stores nationwide for just £1 per pack.
