No compromise over removal of VC: JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh

JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh on Thursday said the students and faculty will not relent till vice-chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar is sacked. She made the comments after meeting HRD officials. Ghosh said they appealed to HRD ministry to remove the VC, which in turn said a dialogue will be held on Friday. "We will not compromise with HRD ministry over the removal of the VC. It is still thinking whether the VC should be removed," he said.

Global road accidents up, deaths down: data

Road accidents have become more frequent but less deadly over the last 30 years as developing nations transition to more stable economies, according to a global injury and death analysis released on Thursday. Tata Motors to commence roll-out of 100 BS-VI compliant products in January

Tata Motors on Thursday said it will start roll-out of over 100 BS-VI compliant models, including passenger vehicles, this month. The auto major also plans to have four global unveils and display 14 commercial and 12 passenger vehicle at the upcoming Auto Expo. Tata Motors begins BSVI rollout, reveals Expo plan

Tata Motors on Wednesday announced that it will commence the introduction of its BSVI range of products with passenger vehicles, starting from January 2020. This will be demonstrated by four global unveils, 14 commercial and 12 passenger vehicle displays at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020.
