Uber will begin data collection for self-driving vehicles on Friday in Washington

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Uber Technologies Inc said Thursday the company will begin data collection for self-driving vehicles on Washington roads Friday with manual drivers behind the wheel, the first step towards potential future deployment. Uber will collect road data to support the development of Uber’s self-driving as it is doing in Dallas, San Francisco and Toronto. HC closes contempt plea after TN govt says fund allocated for construction of law chambers

The Madras High Court bench here closed a contempt petition against the chief secretary after the government on Thursday informed the court that Rs. 7.73 crore has been allocated for construction of additional law chambers in the Madurai court premises. As many as 84 rooms would be constructed using the fund. A deadly virus outbreak that has prompted China to lock down some 20 million people does not yet constitute an international public health emergency, the World Health Organisation determined on Thursday. "I am not declaring a public health emergency of international concern today," WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters after a two-day emergency meeting in Geneva on the virus. "This is an emergency in China, but it has not yet become a global health emergency," he said.

As with most rivalries, both teams came out fired up to play in this one, and it didn't disappoint. The Skyhawks trailed by 10 going into halftime by a score of 35-25 and had a 52 point second half to beat the Eagles for their 14th win of the season. With this win, the Skyhawks will move to 10-6 in the AAC and 14-7 overall.
