Hafiz Saeed sentenced to 11 years in jail in terror financing cases

An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan on Wednesday sentenced Mumbai attack mastermind and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed to 11 years in jail in two terror financing cases. He has been booked in six cases and nominated in 29 cases. The court sentenced Saeed to five-and-a-half years and imposed a fine of Rs 15K in each case. The sentences of both cases will run concurrently.

Activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) beat up some youths outside a school for harassing girls in Maharashtra's Nashik. According to sources in the MNS and local police, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon outside the school in Shalimar area of the city. No police complaint is filed in the case.
