The International Air Transport Association (IATA) predicts demand for air travel will fall for the first time in more than a decade. Railway passenger growth reaches 11-year high in Wales

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - The number of passengers using railway stations in Wales has grown by the largest amount in more than a decade. More than 57.4m people used stations in Wales in 2018-19, up 9.4 from 52.5m the previous year, the largest rise since 2007-08. Much of the growth occurred in the area surrounding Cardiff, with valleys and suburban stations seeing large rises. Longer trains and more seats for passengers across the Midlands

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - Thousands of passengers will benefit from improvements on CrossCountry trains including over 20,000 extra seats a week, thanks to a £2.5 million government investment announced by the Rail Minister.
